Pressed tightly against miso surface to block air. Mold grows wherever air contacts, so gap-free application is essential.
After packing and smoothing, press wrap directly onto surface, covering to container edges. Drop lid and weight on top complete basic mold prevention. Press wrap edges against container walls with your fingertips for better seal. Always replace with fresh wrap after mold removal. Small efforts prevent major problems.
